Jake glanced at the boulders that were about to fall on the caravan. He grabbed his sword and jumped on to the head of the person before him.

Using that as support, he hoisted himself higher and raised his sword.

The boulder fell at the exact moment that he started his jump, and he was right in front of it now.

"Cut!" he used the most basic skill that there was, but the sword made it absolutely powerful.

The boulder was cut into many different pieces, allowing the guards below to take care of them.

But before anyone could react, another trouble arose.

The carriage that carried the queen and her handmaidens was still at the same spot, and no one was moving.

"Why the hell are they standing there like ducks, waiting for a massacre? Are they stupid?" Jake cursed and landed back on the ground.

"What the hell is wrong with you? How could you do something like that? Why did you jump on me you brute?" the person who Jake used chided him.

"What the hell are you talking about? I saved your life." Jake was confused.

"Our life is worthless in front of the queen\'s. All of us must stand here to guard the queen!" the guard shouted back.

"You have got to be kidding. I am stuck with a bunch of stone heads who don\'t know anything." Jake shook his head.

But he still had his sword in his hands, preparing for an attack.

"Brothers! Today, I will have my taste of the kingdom\'s most beautiful woman!" everyone heard a shout from above.

Multiple shadows appeared on the ground. The bandits who were attacking were jumping from the cliff and just directly attacking.

This confused Jake once more. He thought that they would use all the rocks and try and kill as many guards as possible, but none of that happened.

Instead, the bandits just attacked.

"What are they, cracked in the head?" Jake wondered as he raised his sword and killed one of the bandits who was right next to him with no remorse.

In this world, killing was the most common occurrence. When you have unlimited lives, your death only became a monetary loss, and not a big deal anymore.

The bandits appeared, and they started outnumbering the guards. The sheer number of bandits exceeded two hundred, and that was shocking, to say the least. The guards were no longer able to keep up with this barrage.

For a moment, Jake paused. Then, he ran towards the carriage.

Shouting, he said, " I will protect the hand maidens. You protect the queen who is in the forest!"

The moment he said that, the guards looked at him with confusion, as did the bandits. The queen wasn\'t in the forest. She was in the carriage, right?

"Boss! The queen is in the forest! This is a diversion! Let us go!" one bandit shouted.

With that, many of them followed and ran into the forest, just disregarding the guards.

"They really are stupid. To think that they would fall for that." Jake shook his head. But now, Jake glanced at the guards who were protecting the queen.

"Is this how you protect the queen? By standing here and letting the bandits get away? We need to kill every last one of them so that the queen won\'t have a problem anymore. Someone who dared say something that vulgar to the queen doesn\'t deserve to exist!" he raised his sword to try and rally the crowd.

But everyone was just silent. They were all looking at Jake, or rather, the carriage behind him. The curtain was drawn out, and the queen inside was glaring at Jake.

"You are different. I don\'t think that I have ever seen a flamboyant knight like you before." Jake heard a voice behind him.

Jake turned around to see a most flawless woman. No wonder the bandit said that she was the kingdom\'s most beautiful woman.

"Wait. If the queen is the queen, and she isn\'t hiding, then this should be pretty clear. Why is this an SSS ranked quest?" Jake wondered.

"Forgive me, my queen. This guard is just impudent, and he dared to act without permission. I will discipline him, and make sure that he is punished for this offense." a large man appeared and grabbed Jake\'s head.

"Why should he be punished? What offense did he commit? Trying to protect me? Or trying to kill the bastards who dared say that they would enjoy me? I am surprised that the bandits are still alive, commander. It seems that your loyalties lie elsewhere." the queen said quietly.

The commander stood still for a second, and then he took out his sword. He let go of Jake and then approached the queen.

"You are right. My loyalties lie elsewhere, you false queen!" suddenly, the commander\'s face turned into something that was terrifying to look at. He raised his sword and was about to strike at the queen.

Splurt.

The commander fell to his knees, and the moment his back tumbled, his head came out with it.

"Forgive me for showing you such a terrible scene, Your Highness. You have too many enemies around you. It will be my honor to protect you." Jake kneeled on the ground.

The queen gasped with shock. She wouldn\'t expect her own commander to try and kill her.

"You traitor! How could you kill the commander like that? Don\'t tell me, you want to have the credit for killing the queen all to yourself?" the person who was standing in front of Jake said.

"Wait a minute. All of you are here to kill the queen?" Jake took a step back, faltering.

"AAaargh! We need to do this now!" the person shouted.

Among the hundred guards, about twenty of them took out their swords and started fighting with the people in front of them.

The guards were fighting themselves.

Jake finally realized the reason this was an SSS ranked quest. Everyone was the queen\'s enemy.
